Plas Newydd offers spectacular views across the Menai Strait

Plas Newydd is the country seat of the Marquess of Anglesey and sits proudly beside the Menai Straits close to the town of Llanfairpwll. The house is located just a few minutes drive from the A55 and is clearly signposted from the Britannia Bridge.

Since 1976 Plas Newydd has been owned by the National Trust and is open most days to the public.

The house boasts wonderful views of Snowdonia and Caernarfon. Worth the visit alone are the gardens which feature many varieties of plants from around the world.

Opening Times

31st March to 31st October: Saturday to Wednesday.

House: 12.00pm - 4.30pm.

Garden: 11.00am - 5.30pm.

Shop and Tea Room: 10.30am - 5.30pm.

Closed Thursdays and Fridays.
