Anglesey Agricultural Show

Anglesey Show Dates 2009 - August 11th and 12th

The Anglesey Agricultural Show is Anglesey's premier festival and takes place annually during the month of August over two days.

The festival is held on the showground opposite the Mona airfield close to the centre of the island.

In 2008 the show was held on the 12th and 13th of August. Although the weather wasn't too kind this year the organisers and visitors didn't let that dampen their enthusiasm.

The festival features horse jumping, fairground rides, indoor events, and outdoor events.

Indoors there are stalls covering a wide variety of providing information and selling local produce, everything from cheese to bedding plants.

The Anglesey Agricultural Show is easily accessible via the A55 dual carriageway and is well signposted on the island.
